Student in Trouble Over Nude Photos of His Ex-Girlfriend

Henry Alibah, a student who allegedly uploaded the nude pictures of his girlfriend on Facebook to punish her for breaking up with him, has been arraigned before court.

The accused person allegedly uploaded the complainant?s naked pictures on her Facebook wall with the message ?porn star pay and fuck? and added her telephone number for interested persons to call.

He was put before an Accra Circuit court, presided over by Ellen V. Amoah, yesterday on a charge of emotional, verbal or psychological abuse.

He pleaded guilty with explanation.

However, after explaining to the court that the complainant said all sort of things about him to a third party, the trial judge entered a plea of not guilty on his behalf.

Ms Amoah then remanded the accused person to reappear on February 5, 2014.

The prosecutor, Detective Inspector Kofi Atimbere, disclosed that the complainant, Christiana Adoma Boateng, was the fianc?e of the accused Alibah for two years.

He stated that about three months ago, the complainant decided to terminate the relationship and therefore informed the accused person on phone about her decision.

The accused person, according to the prosecutor, insisted that the relationship should continue.

A few weeks later, the accused allegedly called the complainant and warned her to rescind her decision or else he would post her naked pictures on Facebook.

On November 25, 2013, the accused person called the complainant again and gave her 10 minutes to rescind her decision.

When she failed to do so, Alibah allegedly uploaded the naked pictures on the complainant?s Facebook account writing, ?porn star pay and fuck call me on 05488898426.?

Few minutes later, the complainant?s friends started to complain about the pictures.

Christiana, who got offended, reported the case to the police and the accused person was arrested.
