Ali Nawaz Leghari, 40, killed the two girls and three boys ? aged between three and 13 ? in a village in the southern Sindh province, some 140 miles north of Karachi.

A 16-year-old student was stabbed to death on Wednesday morning outside his school in the south of Johannesburg.

The grade 11 Mondeor High School learner Kulani Mathebula sustained stab wounds to his chest and died at the scene.

Gauteng Education Member of the Executive Commitment Panyaza Lesufi rushed to the school and offered his condolences to the family of the deceased.

“Our learner was attacked on his way to school by thugs,” he said.

After the stabbing incident, scores of parents went to the school to check if their children were still safe.

Gauteng police spokesman Kay Makhubela told Xinhua that no arrest had been made and that investigation is ongoing.

“We can confirm the boy was on his way to school and got stabbed near a park not far from the school,” Makhubela said. Enditem
