Ghana internationals Rashid Sumaila and Edwin Gyimah were in action for Mamelodi Sundowns and Supersport United respectively as they drew 1-1 in the South African Premier Soccer League on Monday.
While Sumaila was a pillar in the defence Sundowns defence, Gyimah held the midfield well for Supersport who finished the game with ten men after midfielder Sameehg Doutie was sent off in the 83rd minute.
Sibusiso Khumalo scored first for the home side in the 20th minute but Katlego Mashego snatched the equaliser for Sundowns two minutes after the interval at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

Both Sumaila and Gyimah were in the Ghana squad that beat Egypt to the 2014 World Cup ticket.
Elsewhere, striker Yakubu Mohammed was replaced after the first 45 minutes by Maritzburg United who suffered a 3-1 home defeat to Bidvest Wits. But defender Awal Mohammed lasted the entire duration of the game while Frank Sarfo-Gyamfi warmed the bench.
Ghana first choice goalkeeper Fatau Dauda was not in the Orlando Pirates team when they hammered Platinum Stars 3-0.
Abdul Basit and Daniel Agyei were both full timers for Free State Stars who lost 1-0 against Black Aces.
