Two suspects were arrested for mugging a South African TV crew on camera in Johannesburg, police said on Friday.
Police said two other suspects were also arrested for buying stolen goods belonging to the TV crew, adding none of the four were South African.
Footage shows Vuyo Mvoko, a TV crew from the South African Broadcasting Corporation was robbed by two men on Wednesday evening when he was outside a hospital, waiting to report on the arrival of Zambian President Edgar Lungu for medical treatment.
The robbers took away the journalists’ valuables, including laptops and mobile phones, regardless of the camera.
The four suspects are expected to appear in court on Monday. Enditem
