The Managing Director of the T.T.Brothers Ltd, Mr.Isaac Tetteh has added his voice to the current displeasure of which group to be Airlifted to cheer?s our men in the battle front he stated categorically that government should not spend any cash on various supporters unions who will seek government tax payers money to be use to rally behind the Black Stars in Brazil.
He caution government not by way of making mistake to sponsor the airlift of some thousand (1500) supporters to the largest Latin American country coming June when the FIFA World Cup commences as being speculated.
?Organisations and supporters union must look elsewhere for other sources of funding for their activities,? he said.
He said that, ?Maybe the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the GFA will find ways and means to send the people to Brazil. But government should make sure not spend 1pesewa for them to Airlifted?.
He however said that ?As to government will help is another debate going on out there, Corporate Ghana can support supporters to go. If you use public money, how do you even select the people to go?which supporters should be selected because everybody is a supporter of the Black Star. These are serious issues we should think through?.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Weekly Observer in Accra, Mr. Tetteh hinted that any individual group can go to Brazil seems world cup are been played four years.
He explained further that if from last four years these groups is saving GH1 cedi down by now they may not depend on government who is struggling from decline of the cedi currency, cocoa, gold and export earn?s.
He advice any organization and supporters union must look for local companies for sponsorship so that they can by way of chance showcase some of their products in the world market front.
