4)CONCLUSION/ANALYSIS

Respondents expressed a greater interest in the most influential personalities catergory than the best writer, communicator, researcher/analyst and social media blogger category.

A) i) His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was revealed to be the most powerful politician in NPP and Ghana politics, while Sammy Awuku and Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah were the most powerful young politicians in Ghana politics.

Sammy Awuku was found to be the most influential youth in NPP whilst that of NDC was Sammy Gyamfi.

The most powerful politician in NDC was Jerry John Rawlings.

Although the research revealed that the NPP has a more powerful person [Nana Boakye (Nana B)] in charge of the party’s youth wing than that of the NDC’s youth commander [George Opare Addo (Pablo)], it also revealed that the NDC youth wing comprised of more influential leaders (youth organizer and deputies combined) than that of the NPP.

This means that the youth wing of the NDC is stronger than that of NPP despite their more influential leader [Nana Boakye(Nana B)].

ii) On the issue of who is the best to lead NDC as its Presidential Candidate which is slated for Saturday, 23rd February, 2019, most respondents felt ASK Bagbin would be the best to lead the NDC.

B) i) The research revealed that the NPP has more and better writers, researchers/analysts and social media bloggers than the NDC while the NDC has better communicators than the NPP.
