In the latest issue, on newsstands now, an insider tells Life & Style magazine that while there is some truth in the recent rivalry between Fast & Furious stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Vin Diesel, the beef is largely a publicity stunt to amp up drama for a WWE wrestling match and to help promote the April 2017 release of Fast 8.
“They are playing a huge prank, and it’s all for publicity,” the insider tells Life & Style.
On Aug. 8, The Rock called out some unnamed male co-stars as “candy asses” on Instagram, and Vin promptly outed himself as the candy butt.
“The Rock convinced Vin to amp up the drama between them so they could turn it into a WWE match to help promote the April 2017 release of Fast 8,” says the insider. There’s no denying, Rock and Vin are grabbing headlines already.
