Theophilus Ankamah Is Not Chief Of Kwabenya – Abbey We Family

Members of the Abbey We Family of Kwabenya within the Ga East Municipality in the Greater Accra Region have described Mr. Theophilus Nii Ankamah Aryee as an imposter Chief at Kwabenya.

They have disclosed that there is a Court injunction on Mr. Ankamah and should therefore not be regarded as a chief of the Kwabenya Traditional Area.

Addressing the media at the lifting of band on noise making in the area, the Chief Kwabenya-Musuku, Nii Mensah Dzanyogo I, indicated that Mr. Ankamah does not hail from any of the two gates which include, Nii Abbey We and Kwao Abassa that form the Traditional area.

He stated that Mr. Ankamah parading himself as a chief of the area was illegal and would soon face the wrath of the traditional council.

Nii Dzanyogo I, alleged that Mr. Ankamah is preventing the area from enjoying peace and unity that fosters development.

The Chief called on the general to disregard Mr. Ankamah as a chief of Kwabenya, adding that anyone dealing with him does so at his or her own risk.

“Whilst we are creating job avenues for the teeming youth in the area, Mr. Ankamah continued to cause confusion among people,” he indicated.

Nii Dzanyogo I disclosed that the Council have called Mr. Ankamah to order on several occasions but continued with his illegal acts.

He further alleged that the criminal acts by Mr. Ankamah have been preventing investors from coming to the area with employment opportunities.
