One of Ghana?s long surviving hip life artistes, Tic Tac has described himself as a gospel musician contrary to the ideas people had about him in that regard.
Speaking on eTV?s The Late Night Celebrity Show Monday night, Tic Tace, also the Vice Chairman of the Greater Accra region of MUSIGA said all his songs are gospel music because they do not preach anything bad or immoral but otherwise and that makes him a preacher or gospel musician.
According to him, his ?Philomena? track which saw him rise to the top on the Ghanaian music ladder many years ago was a song that encouraged personal hygiene among Ghanaians hence qualified to be a gospel music.
Born Nana Kwaku Okyere Duah, Tic Tac Tic Tac began his music career while a secondary school student in Accra. He first began performing in 1997 with a group called ?Natty Strangers? along with his best friend Bessem Bikhazi (famously known as Cold Sweat). (OMG!Ghana)
