The 11th Edition of Tigo Tema Golf Open Tournament held at the Tema Country Golf Club has ended.
Mr Philip Brown, Head of Business to Business at Tigo, said that the telecommunication company valued its relationship with its customers, saying it was essential to the company’s success.
He said over the past years, Tigo has supported various activities, including its partnership with the Tema Country Golf Club, to bring new and exciting experiences to Tigo corporate client and high value clients.
Mr Philip said Tigo’s partnership with the Tema Country Golf Club has provided the platform for many golfers in the country and the sub-region to help immensely in the development of the Game in Ghana.
Mr Philip pledged that Tigo Ghana remained committed to providing the best communication solutions to keep business connected, improve efficiency and remain profitable.
The captain of the Tema country golf club, Mr Noel Hammond, pointed out that Golf playing was not only for the Rich, as some Ghanaians thought.
He said golf was for everybody and encouraged all to join.
The over-all winner of the tournament was Mr Emos Korbla who score 279.
He received an award of Sumsung Young Two Phone, and a cash of Gh ?2,500 and other prizes.
The second winner was Victoria Brave-Mensah who also score 279, and received an award of Samsung Young Two Phone with a cash of Gh?1,700 and other prizes.
Mr Vincent Torgah came third by scoring 283, and received a cash of Gh 1,400, plus a Samsung Young Two Phone
All the 18 winners received awards from Tigo Ghana.
