The former governor is expected to bring his experience to bear in repositioning the school

Bola Tinubu, the former Lagos State governor and leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), was on Tuesday appointed the Chancellor of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso.

LAUTECH, which is jointly owned by the governments of Oyo and Osun states, was founded by the old Oyo State in 1988.

Dr. Festus Adedayo, Special Adviser to Governor Abiola Ajimobi on Media, speaking in Ibadan, revealed that the decision was taken after extensive deliberation between the governments of the two owner-states.

Tinubu, who is an accountant and administrator, is expected to bring his vast experience in public management to bear on the running of the institution, as well as reposition it to meet up with the standard of its peers all over the world.
