Titus Glover, the Greater Accra Regional Minister, has publicly revealed that internal sabotage from party members in the Tema East constituency led to his defeat in the 2020 elections.
The former Member of Parliament lamented that his party’s lack of support contributed significantly to his electoral loss to the NDC candidate.
“I lost Tema East because my people did not support me; they sabotaged my campaign, resulting in my defeat to the NDC,” Glover disclosed.
Speaking at the campaign launch of Jefferson Kwamena Sackey for Ablekuma Central, Glover emphasized the need for unity within the NPP ahead of the upcoming December polls.
“We should eschew all forms of division as we prepare for the polls. We can’t be divided going into the election, so let’s remain united,” he urged, underlining the situation’s urgency.
Jefferson Sackey, supported by Glover, aims to unseat the incumbent NDC candidate Dan Abdul-Latif in the crucial upcoming elections.
