The top 50 candidates of the 2024 Citi FM/Channel One TV Literacy Challenge for Junior High School Students are set to undergo an Aptitude Test on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at noon. The venue for the test is the Accra Digital Centre.
These top candidates were unveiled during the Citi Breakfast Show on Citi FM, broadcasted on Thursday, July 26.
The Literacy Challenge, launched on May 16, 2024, offers a prize of GH¢10,000 and a trophy to the most outstanding participant. Participants were required to submit handwritten essays by Saturday, July 13, 2024, addressing the role of youth in shaping Ghana’s future, focusing on desired changes and strategies for youth involvement.
Sponsored by the Ghana National Gas Company, Alife Soap, Fortune Spread, M4 Food, and PGL and powered by Channel One TV with support from Citi FM, the Literacy Challenge aims to identify and reward exceptional JHS students across Ghana through rigorous assessments.
