Ghana international midfielder Torric Jebrin has expressed disappointment in Ismaily’s 3-0 mauling by Tunisian giants Esperance in a friendly yesterday.
The former AFRICAN Champions (Ismaily) are currently in Tunisia for a training tour as their league is on a three- week break.
The Egyptian powerhouse engaged the Tunisian giants in a friendly but fell massively in the hands of the 2011 CAF Champions.
The Ghanaian international who is now the idol of Ismaily fans says he is very disaapointed in the side’s defeat.
In an exclusive interview with GHANAsoccernet.com, Torric Jebrin said “I am ver disappointed in the results. Our blistering start in the Egyptian league gave us confidence of defeating Esperance but I think they have an experienced side.”
“Our coach [Mido] is not happy and all the players are not happy. But I think this is just a friendly and we have to put it behind us and move forward,” he added.
“We have lost only a game in the league and this is our second loss of the season. We have a lot to do and I am very sure we shall learn a lot from the game.”
The former Hearts of Oak midfielder was touted as a perfect replica of Mohammed Polo when he joined the former Ghana champions seven years ago. The Ghanaian is now the whiz kid of the Ismaily side with Coach Mido describing him as a major addition to his side.
