Oil marketing firm Total has launched a new product onto the Ghanaian market after years of research.

The product dubbed Excellium comes in three different ranges namely Excellium Diesel, Excellium Super and Excellium Super 95.

The product is composed of a number of additives like detergent, anti-oxidant to improve the efficiency of vehicle engine.

Managing Director of Total Olivier Van Parys said the introduction of the product is in line with Total’s commitment to innovate and give customers value for money.

“Ghana becomes the third country in Africa to experience the product after it was launched in Morocco, Ivory Coast and Uganda.”

Transport Minister Fifi Kwetey commended Total for the innovation it has championed so far in the 60 years of its existence in Ghana.

“Introducing this product will help consumers save money and bring satisfaction and help strengthen the environmental management system to ensure efficient transport system,” he said.
