After abortive negotiations with unnamed clubs from Denmark and Sweden, the Tudu Mighty Jet starlet is about penning a two-year contract with the Portuguese second-tier side
Tudu Mighty Jet young attacker Ernest Nyarko is expected to sign a two-year contract with Sporting Club Farense, Goal Ghana can reveal.
The former Mighty Cosmos starlet won the hearts of Farense?s technical handlers with his swift left foot skills and will be sealing a deal with the Portuguese Segunda side anytime soon.
The 18-year-old striker said he is elated about the news and playing in the Portuguese second-tier league is a dream come true. Initially, he was in Denmark and Sweden to negotiate with unnamed clubs but the deal fell through.
?I couldn?t sign for the Swedish club because the money wasn?t good so I left Sweden to Denmark but the Denmark deal didn?t go through too so my agent [Jaoa Manuel] did his best to get a new club in the Portuguese Segunda and I have completed my two months trials with them,? Nyarko told Goal.
?My agent has completed the necessary negotiation with them so I?m just waiting to pen my signature and I?m happy in starting my European football career in Portugal.?
Nyarko was a key member at Tudu Mighty Jet in their 2013-14 Division One squad that failed to gain promotion into the Ghana Premier League.
