The Kyabobo National Park in the Nkwanta South Municipality in the Oti region has won two prestigious honours at the just ended Ghana Tourism Awards.
The Park was adjudged Tourist Attraction Site and the Site Guide of the Year 2024 at the well patronised event organised by the Ghana Tourism Authority.
It was aimed at recognising the outstanding contributions to the country’s tourism industry nationally.
Mr. Josiah Aduko, the Manager of Kyabobo National Park, said the awards received by the park demonstrated their commitment to conservation and wildlife preservation, community engagement, culture heritage promotion, tourism, and sustainable practices, and exceptional visitors’ experiences.
He expressed gratitude to the organizers and the various stakeholders involved in such recognition adding that the awards would motivate them to continue to innovate and promote Ghana’s natural beauty.
He also pledged his continuing efforts in promoting Ghana’s tourism industry, especially the Kyabobo Park.
