This latest incident is suspected to be in retaliation to the killing of the Adontenhene of Nkonya-Ahenkro at his farm on Monday, and the shooting of a 31 years old woman at Nkonya-Kadjebi on Tuesday evening.
Interestingly, this afternoon shooting comes few hours after visit by the Volta regional minister, Helen Ntoso led members of security council to meet with leaders of both Nkonya and Alavanyo earlier today.
Madam Ntoso has therefore expressed shock the turn of events, but assured to beef of security to prevent further reprisal attacks.
