Ghana‘s U-17 will engage neighbors from Cote d’ Ivoire in the final qualifier on September 16 at the Cape Coast Stadium.

The Black Stars progressed to this stage after ousting the Burkinabes on a 6-5 aggregate score line despite losing by 4-1 at the August 4th Stadium in Ouagadougou on Saturday.

Ivory Coast on the other hand ejected Benin on a 4-1 aggregate score to progress to the final round of qualifiers.

However the technical team and their charges will be hoping to make it to next year’s Championship in Madagascar which kicks start from April 2-16.

Ghana missed out in the last edition of the competition after fielding an unqualified player against Cameroon and are bent this time round to qualify.
