Ubah Welcomes Anambra FA Elections Normalisation Committee



Proprietor of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, IfeanyiUbah FC, Dr. IfeanyiUbah has described the setting up of a Normalisation Committee by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to look into the concluded Anambra State FA elections as a right step in a right direction.

Ubah who emerged Vice Chairman in the elections told media men in Abuja that he has no problem with the setting up of the committee because he feels they are doing their work.

He said if the Committee comes up with a decision that the elections should be re-conducted he will not have any problem with the decision and whoever wins is alright by him.

The premier league club owner who was in Abuja over the weekend to watch his club?s feeder team engage in a friendly match with the national U-17 team disclosed that his investment in sports is not accidental.

He said a comprehensive research was carried out and it was discovered that investing in sports, particularly football is worth the risk because it is the easiest way to reach out to the youths.

Ubah noted that the investment has already attracted seven European partners adding that in the next three to four years, he will be producing over 200 players in the various leagues in Europe.
