“We have a very friendly atmosphere in camp. When you come to our hotel, it will be very difficult for you to notice, who the leader is, unless you already know me as the captain. We do everything together and this shows how united we are for success.

“We are in a very high spirits and ready top do battle for Ghana and this is seen all over camp. This is a team made of up experienced and youthful players, who are hungry for success and we shall do our best to get the first three points.

Speaking at pre-match press conference on Monday, Gyan said, there is no “discrimination” in camp as every member whether old or new are treated equally.

“Nobody is given a preferential treatment. Even the new players in the team are having fun with us. We are motivated to deliver on the pitch.” Gyan stated.

He said though Ghana is ahead of Uganda in terms of statistics, they will never underrate them.

According to Gyan, football has developed over the years and no team can be underrated under any circumstance.

“We will not disrespect them, even though, they will have nothing to lose. If they beat Ghana it’s a major headline, but if we beat them it will be treated as an ordinary story, that is why we are going all out.” He stated.

Skipper Gyan, however admitted dificuties in beating Uganda, saying they are a very tough side and tactically disciplined, but “we are sure of victory”.
