Uganda’s annual inflation rises to 3.2 percent in April

Uganda’s annual headline inflation stood at 3.2 percent as of April, up from 3 percent in March, Uganda Bureau of Statistics said in a statement Thursday.

The bureau attributed the increase in core consumer prices.

Energy fuels and utilities inflation rose 8.3 percent in the year to April, up from 7.7 percent in March. Enditem
