The National Chairman of the main opposition National Democratic Congress, Mr. Johnson Aseidu Nketia, nicknamed General Mosquito, led some party members to embark on a campaign tour of five constituencies in the Western North Region starting from Sefwi Bibiani-Anhwiaso Bekwai constituency.
During the tour, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for the Bibiani-Anhwiaso Bekwai constituency, Hon Bright Asamoah Brefo, blamed the Member of Parliament on the ticket of the ruling NPP, Hon Alfred Obeng Boateng, for failing to bring enough physical and economic development to the constituency, alluding that either the incumbent MP was lazy or more interested in accumulating personal wealth than address the concerns of the constituents. He faulted the NPP government for not helping Hon. Alfred Obeng Boateng deploy development in the constituency.
Mr. Borge Gyamfi also emphatically stated that this NPP government led by Nana Addo-Bawumiah disappointed the good people of Ghana by prioritizing taxation, corruption, and mismanagement.
The NDC National Chairman, Mr. Johnson Aseidu Nketia, spoke on behalf of H.E John Dramani Mahama. He appealed to Ghanaians to unite and promote peace at all times. He also advised us to consider voting for all the NDC parliamentary candidates and the flagbearer in the upcoming national election on 7th December as a sign of annihilating corruption.
