Newcastle striker Papiss Cissé, goal scorer once again on Monday against Bolton, is fast becoming unstoppable in the Premier League.
SC Freiburg’s former ace goal scorer was transferred to the Magpies during the winter break for 12 million Euros and found the back of the nets as of his first appearance in the English Championship on 5 February against Aston Villa.
Repeating his performance against Wolverhampton and Norwich City, the former FC Metz player then signed three consecutive braces against West Bromwich Albion, Liverpool and Swansea City.
The Senegalese international has therefore reached 10 goals in 9 matches in the Premier League, almost overshadowing Demba Ba who, following a phenomenal start to the season, has lost much of his form since the arrival of his compatriot.
Newcastle are currently lying in fifth position in the league standings as the season draws to a close, and they could well bag a place in the Champions League if Papiss Cissé continues in his current form.
