Speaker of parliament Edward Doe Adjao has cautioned parliamentarians to uphold the dignity of the house as they prepare themselves for campaign towards the upcoming general elections. He urged the Honourable members to desists from acrimony, insult and vile attacks against each other.
He tasked them to exhibit the highest level of maturity and restraint in the face of any provocations. Speaker also advised them to desist from engaging in any physical or verbal attacks on Constitutional bodies as this will cause citizens to lose confidence in governance institutions, thereby creating instability and undermining democratic credentials.
” lf you feel provoked or have a grievance, you may use the due process to seek redress in the appropriate forum “. He added.
