Viasat1 engaged clients and media buying companies at media bar


Viasat1 Broadcasting G. Limited has engaged clients and media buying companies at a media bar organised by the television station.

The aim of the event, held on Thursday 9th April 2015, was to interact with the clients and tap into ideas and projections for the next quarter of the year.

There were representatives from Mediacom, Scanad Ghana, Ogilvy, PHD, Carat, Orion Advertising Co. Limited and mediaReach OMD.

The Programmes team of Viasat1, led by Ms. Sa?ra Sow, Acquisition Manager for free TV channel (Africa), presented the clients with highlights of exciting programmes to be rolled out on the channel. Among them were new seasons of XOXO and James Town Fisherman, Enjoy TV, Celebrity Fan Zone, and the 9th season of The One Show which premieres in May.

Others include new seasons of Omotola: ?The Real Me?, Nigeria?s Got Talent, and Real Husbands of Hollywood. An exciting Filipino telenovela, ?Tomorrow Belongs to Me? and Angolan/Portuguese series ?Direct Flight? will premiere on Viasat1 in the coming months. Joselyn Dumas will be on Viasat1 again with a new programme, Boudoir.

Sales Manager of Viasat1, Mr. Emmanuel Donald Entsuah, also engaged clients on opportunities available for them on the channel, website and social media platforms.

Viasat1 gave away a 50-inch Hisense LED TV set to Mr. John Mensah Aidoo Sanny of Mediacom, who emerged eventual winner of a 12-question trivia (after balloting).

The show was hosted by award-winning presenters of This Morning, Patrice Amegashie and Kokui Selormey.
