
In a statement Thursday, the presidential press secretary Albertus Aochamub said this is with immediate effect.
“It is in the Spirit of Harambee and Africa Unity to exempt all visa requirements into Namibia for all Africans that are holders of diplomatic or official passports,” he said.
Quoted in the statement, President Hage Geingob said many of Namibia’s youth were sheltered by fellow African countries.
“Many of our young people found shelter in fellow African countries; enabling them to continue with their education, which would in turn, equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to contribute to the development of our country,” the statement quoted Geingob saying. Enditem
