Vision FC head coach Nana Kweku Agyemang intends to secure the Ghana Premier League title in the upcoming season.
Agyemang, who recently led Vision FC to a significant victory in the Division One League Super Cup, emphasized his ambition to clinch the top league trophy, building on their recent success.
Vision FC, a newly promoted side after their impressive performance in the Division One League Super Cup, triumphed in the Super Cup held in Nsoatre, edging out Okwawu United 8-7 in a penalty shootout after a goalless draw in regular time.
In an interview with Akoma Sports, Nana Agyemang outlined his lofty goal for the team. “We’re not coming into the league with the mindset that placing 10th would be acceptable. We aim to win the Premier League.
This is not a target set by my chairman but rather a personal challenge I have set for myself. I thrive on pushing my limits and want to win the Ghana Premier League,” he shared, inviting the audience to empathize with his journey.
Agyemang clarified that the pressure to achieve this goal is self-imposed and not something he wishes to transfer to his players.
“I’m not placing pressure on the boys; it’s something I am determined to achieve for myself. I handle the pressure because I know how to manage it effectively. I focus on ensuring the players enjoy their game without stress,” he reassured.
Vision FC is set to begin their Premier League campaign with a home match against Berekum Chelsea.
