It has been brought to the attention of DAILY GUIDE that the model on Vlisco billboards across the country is not Felivian Adombila Ayariga aka Dion, the alleged girlfriend of the suspected armed robber, Rabiu.
Felivian, who is said to be a model for some companies, was linked to the textile giant, but credible information stumbled on by DAILY GUIDE indicates that contrary to the earlier report, the model on the Vlisco advertising billboards is an international model who is not a Ghanaian.
Twenty-six-year old Felivian Ayariga, who was arrested on Saturday February 25, 2012 in connection with Rabiu, Accra’s most wanted armed robber, has been granted police enquiry bail in the sun of GH¢20,000.
Earlier, the Accra Regional Police Command hinted that the model, who hails from Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region, will be hauled before court on charges of harbouring a criminal.
The regional command had a change of mind but with no details to the press for now.
Ms Ayariga was arrested following the death of her alleged robber lover, Rabiu, whom she has dated for the past five years or so.
Police said her arrest was part of a grand plan to recover stolen items of which they believed she benefited from.
This is the second time she has been arrested.
In the first instance, she told police it was long over between her and the Togolese robbery suspect.
Felivian, who is three months pregnant for the alleged robber, is supposed to be reporting at the Regional Police Headquarters daily.
Rabiu and his accomplice Sam Peters met their end when they engaged the police in a fierce shoot-out last Friday when they tried to attack a Nigerian resident of Ogbojo, near Madina, over their missing gun which they hid in a flower bed.
Their third accomplice, Raman, however escaped.
