The 2012 Presidential Candidate of the Convention Peoples Party has called on the people of Senya Breku in the Central Region to vote the Convention Peoples Party into power if they really want to witness real change in their lives after the December 2012 elections.
?We want all of you to listen to the issues very well and to make up your minds on whether you want Ghana to remain a country that imports everything or ?country that? does not make much,? where over fifty seven? percent of our students are failing in the Basic Education Certificate Examination, BECE and where ninety percent of our people do not have access to their own toilet and cost of living is so high because wages are so low relative to income that even some of? the young ones cannot build their own houses. ? Dr Abu Sakara told the gathering. This is the Ghana we are in and the Convention Peoples Party is offering you a unique opportunity in this election, don?t say that we are not many because your vote is the one that counts , it takes fifty percent and one to win.
He was delivering a message of hope to the people of Senya Breku in the Central Region at the launch of an eighty three paged book on ?Senya Breku? a coastal town review by Very Reverend Thomas Oseku Afful.
Dr Sakara also used the opportunity to call on the Tufuhene of Senya Breku Traditional Area Nenyi Kwa Bentum IV where he donated assorted drinks and an undisclosed amount of money to the Tufuhene and assured them of the party?s effort in ensuring that the 2012 Presidential and Parliamentary election is devoid of insults and violence against political opponents before, during and after the election for the country to continue to enjoy the peace its currently enjoying.
The CPP flagbearer was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Lily Sakara Foster; Chairperson of the Party Samia Nkrumah? Rodaline Imoru-Ayarna ? 2ndNational Vice Chair; Ivor Kobbina Greeenstreet ? Deputy National Organiser; Mr Kwame Addy ? Central Regional Chair and his Central Regional Executives; Abbiw Mensah ? CPP Parliamentary Candidate.
Earlier the Campaign manager Thomas Ntumy addressed the people of Saltpond at their annual festival where he donated drinks and an undisclosed amount of money on-behalf Dr Sakara as part of the CPP?s contribution towards the celebration of the festival.
