The Wa Central Zongo community Youth for Mahama has stated that it has had a very fair share of the national cake of development as infrastructure has improved with the provision of schools, boreholes and the construction of better drainage system among others.
This was contained in a statement read by Isah Adnan, the patron of the club at a well-attended press conference to inaugurate the Wa Central Zongo Youth for Mahama club in Wa, the Upper West Regional capital.
Mr Adnan said President Mahama brings hope and confidence to the Zongo communities in the country and for the entirety of Ghanaians, having risen through the ranks as a member of parliament of parliament for a period of twelve years and a minister of state.
He said if elected as a president of the country he will be creating jobs for the youth and added that, president Mahama will deliver on his promise and ensure the promotion of the welfare of the Muslims as it has happened in the past.
He described the Zongo for Mahama as a volunteer group whose membership is national in character and it?s open to all well-meaning Ghanaians who share the vision of building a better Ghana.
He said the NPP is busy promising heaven on earth and said come December 7th the Ghanaian electorates will decide and President Mahama will come up tops.
The club is committed to peace and will not allow itself to be pushed into any ?any diabolical agenda of any cheap or war mongering politician during the upcoming elections. Wwe are determined to win the upcoming elections through hard work, not by any means necessary?.
Mr Adnan said the creation of the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA) which is currently in operation of which the government of the NDC has committed over two hundred thousand dollars, has created over five thousand jobs.
He mentioned the guaranteed price of shea nut business and the creation of the shea nut processing plant by the NDC as something quite laudable which must be commended.
The MCE for Wa, Alhaji Duogu Yakubu called on the newly formed club to gear up and ensure total and convincing victory for the NDC in the upcoming general elections.
He said the performance of the NDC as a party is there for all to see; this he said will clinch victory for the government as the generality of Ghanaians truly appreciate what the NDC government has done for them.
The Wa Central Member of Parliament for the NDC, Alhaji Rashid Pelpuo who inaugurated the club, said the Zongoes in Ghana will be targeted for development when the NDC is retained in power to add up to what already has been done for them.
He called for support and unity as that is the surest way to ensure victory for the NDC in the impending December 7th general elections.
