UNSUBSTANTIATED report making the rounds in Sunyani, the Brong Ahafo Regional capital, suggests that two love birds got glued together during a hot afternoon sexual intercourse on Wednesday.

The rumour, which spread like bushfire in the municipality, attracted curious residents to the guest house near the Wednesday Market, where the incident took place, to catch a glimpse of the two lovers.

The victims were said to have been sent to the Regional Hospital in Sunyani for medical attention in an ambulance around 3pm.

Reports reaching DAILY GUIDE indicated that medics at the hospital managed to separate the two after a successful surgery around 10:00 pm the same day.

However, both the hospital authorities and the police have vehemently denied knowledge of the incident, describing it as a hoax. But people around the guest house claimed it did happen since they saw the two stuck to each other and being carried into a waiting ambulance to the hospital.

The Medical Director of the Sunyani Regional Hospital, Dr Jacob Abebrese, told?DAILY GUIDE?that the facility had not received any case like that and asked the general public to disregard the speculation.

The Brong-Ahafo Regional Police Commander, ACP Patrick Adusei Sarpong and his PRO, ASP Christopher Tawiah, said that the police had not attended to an incident of that nature.

DAILY GUIDE?however, gathered?that the woman, who hails from Berekum, a town in the region, and sells assorted soaps at the market, is married and comes to trade there every Wednesday, and that at the time of the incident she was wearing her wedding ring.

According to reports, her husband had suspected her of flirting around, so he went for magical powers to protect his marriage.

The paper further gathered that on that fateful day, the woman had gone to sell at the market and later left her wares with a friend so that she could attend to an important call.

She then sneaked out to meet her secret lover and booked a ?short time? session at the guest house to have fun. According to reports, the guest house attendant heard some unusual noise from the room where they were lodging, as the man was shouting for help due to the excruciating pain he was experiencing as a result of his stuck manhood.

The attendant, who forced the door open and saw what was going on, called for help, which attracted some taxi drivers to come around to assist in taking them to the hospital.

However, they could not carry them into the taxi, hence the call for an ambulance from the regional hospital, which conveyed them.
