After the election of 48 year old Kurt E. S. Okraku, former CEO of Dreams FC as the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the issue of the vacant vice president has popped up with personalities like Dr. Toni Aubynn, Randy Abbey, Samuel Anim Addo and Mark Addo among others have been linked to the position.
Oduro Sarfo, one of the campaigners for Mr. Okraku who picked up one of the GFA Executive Council (ExCo) slots in last Thursday’s election has revealed he is not interested in becoming Kurt Okraku’s veep.
He added that interested persons have spoken to him to get his vote but, he yet to decide which person where his vote will go.
“I will not contest for the Ghana Football Association Vice President position,” he said on Asempa FM.
“Randy Abbey, George Amoako, Dr.Toni Aubyn and Mark Addo are my top 4 contestants for the Vice President position”
“I have been lobbied by almost everybody but I’m not in a rush to decide because I want make the right decision” said the general manager of Berekum Chelsea Football Club.
The 12-member Executive Council will elect a new vice president on November 5.
