The second leg is scheduled for weekend.

It was substitute Kwame Kizito who levelled the scores for the Phobians on 74th minute, blasting home a rebound after Eric Kumi?s goal-bound shot from close range was punched into play by goalkeeper Robert Dabuo.

The match itself was fiercely contested with AshGold dictating the pace throughout the first half, but lack of precision upfront denied them from scoring the needed goals.

The Miners, taking advantage of a sloppy marking from the Phobian defence, drew first blood in the 14th minute courtesy Emmanuel Baffour.

The striker, pounced on a pass in the midfield, took on two Hearts? defencemen and let go a powerful shot which beat the goalkeeper.

As the match wore on, the two combatants squared up fiercely in midfield, but it was the Miners who had the upper-hand to end the first session in their favour.

The second half saw a rejuvenated Phobian side piling pressure on their opponents to fetch the equalizer through Kizito.
