A group called ?Women for Mahama? has embarked on a nationwide campaign tour as part of efforts to clinch victory the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The group is an affiliate to the National Democratic Congress and the nationwide campaign is intended to canvass for votes for the party on December 7.
Ahead of the December polls, the group led by Madam Bertha Saga, Chief Executive Officer of Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) has toured the Upper West, Volta and Northern regions.
The Women for Mahama toured various markets to educate women on appropriate voting procedure.
The group is made up of several women dedicated to the course of President John Mahama and aims at ensuring victory for the National Democratic Congress under the leadership of President Mahama in the December 7 elections.
