Some women in the area are pleading for presidential pardon for male prisoners to enable them marry because they are not toasted by their male counterparts which has led to high number of females who have attained marriage age yet are single.

They however observed that, this can only happen if the male prisoners are released because the men in their localities are not prepared to date them not alone talk of marriage.

“The men in the prison are more than the men in our town so please release them for us. We will enjoy with them and have a nice family together and so we beg Nana Addo to pardon the prisoners in our region because our town is dying” they bemoaned
