The Word of Life Christian Centre has dedicated its Temple at Spintex with a promise to set up a fund to support its ministers in time of retirement.
The Reverend Dr Isaac Quaye, the General Overseer of the church, said established some 30 years ago, the church had trained more ministers and impacted the lives of many people in the society with some occupying key positions. Rev. Quaye said the church, as part of its social responsibility, had been supporting orphanages and providing health screening services for some communities, adding that it was only when the people were healthy that they could serve the Lord. He urged religious leaders to desist from all forms of negative practices that may tarnish the image of the clergy and expressed the hope that the church would continue to preach the unadulterated word of God at all times. Arch Bishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, Presiding Bishop of the Action Chapel International, commended the church for putting up the edifice. He urged them to work tirelessly to win more souls for Christ and impact the lives of Ghanaians.
