As part of the government?s promise of constructing extra office accommodation for the Ghana Police Service a sod?cutting ceremony for the construction of a three-storey academic and administration block estimated at GH? 3.5 million for the Ghana Police Command and staff college Winneba has been held at Winneba.
Deputy Commissioner for Police (DCOP) (RTD), Mr. William Kwesi Aboah, the National Security Adviser, did the sod-cutting for the commencement of work.
The ceremony coincided with the closing ceremony of the maiden Senior Command Course One.
Mr. Aboah hoped the completion of the project will go a long way to enhance the smooth running of the college and also to equip personnel of the college to be able to discharge their duties well.
