With its headquarters in the country it hopes to incorporate within the body of ministers of the gospel the sense of belonging that transcends the confinement of denominational walls and heretic considerations.
A statement issued by the council says the body aims to grow on the pillars of already understood Kingdom principles that enshrine the five gift offices of Jesus Christ; the Apostolic, the Prophetic, the Pastoral, the Evangelistic and the Teaching Ministries.
?We envisage a total committed army of ministers of God devoted to the principle of righteous living, conscientious shepherding and prophetic obedience,? the statement said.
The mission of the council is to bring the five-fold ministry to the world?s socio-political platform through the recognition of able men and women of God?s prophetic directions for the world.
The council would be the mouth piece of the fivefold ministry, which stands between the government, the church and the clergy.
Its objectives are: to help members to distinguish between what is from God and what is from the human spirit; ensure that members adhere to sound biblical doctrines, and recognise internationally able men and women of God whose aspiration is to give God the glory.
The statement said other objectives include enhancing the duties and requirements of the great commission; assist registered members in which ever ministry or ministries they serve as to their reference, ordination, consecration and ministerial development, and ?expose the ?Anti-Christ? machinery of our generation and generations unborn?.
It would also foster apostolic collaboration among member representatives of nations in the area of international policies, facilitate sponsorship for all projects necessary for consideration on behalf of members and non-governmental organisations, provide assistance for natural disasters; welfare of members? families? perseverance scope and disciplinary codes, and engage in income generation projects for the sustenance of its vision.
The council is headed by Prophet Daniel Asamoah-Larbi, President and Chairman of the Spirit-Filled Committee, Very Reverend Dr Yaw Frimpong Manso, Chairman of the Board, Rev Dr John B. Ghartey, Executive Secretary and Bishop George Adjei Boakye, Welfare Director.
