Midfielder Yahaya Mohammed says he?s a transformed character after being included in Ghana?s provisional 26-man for next year?s Africa Cup of Nations.
The 24-year-old was farmed out to Amidaus Professionals on a season-long loan by Kotoko after he fell out of favour at the club.
Kotoko?s difficulties with Mohammed last season were extensively documented, but the versatile player has since gone ahead to emerge the best player in the Ghana Premier League so far.
The former Tema Youth man was accused of breaching discipline code at the club, resulting in the decision of the authorities to send him on loan.
But after seeing his stock risen in the ast couple of weeks, the ex-OGC Nice player says he?s a changed person.
?I made a lot of mistakes at Kotoko but I believe I?m a reformed person now.? Mohammed said
?My relationship with the club collapsed after I demanded some money from officials and they were not happy about it.
?It was a huge mistake. I shouldn?t have gone to ask for the money.
?But I apologized several times but it fell on deaf ears. But like I said, I have mended my ways and hope to do the business on the pitch.?
Mohammed has attracted a lot of interest from clubs abroad.
