Serving the International issues relevant to Yangling, the only state-level agriculture hi-tech industries demonstration zone in China, the Yangling International Exchange Center (IEC), welcomed 40 participants drawn from various countries for participation in a month-long- training seminar on “National Development Path and Economic Development” in Yangling Shaanxi Province in China.
Participants are drawn from Ghana, Mauritius, Tonga and Vanuatu Islands, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Tanzania, Lebanon, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Founded in 1997, IEC is an institute under the jurisdiction of the Local Government specialized in managing international exchange training programs, that boast of several experts and professors in relevant areas of study. With two universities, 15 key provisional and Ministerial laboratories, 18 national provisional research centers located here, Yangling IEC has “energetically assumed the duty of national foreign-aid training program workshops in dry-land farming, water-saving irrigation, soil and water conservation and technology extension” etc.
With various professional backgrounds ranging from project management, coordinators and Policymakers, the 40-participants will learn Deng Xiaoping theory and localization of Marxism in China, proceedings and experience of Chinese reforms and opening –up, economic reforms, and macro-economic situation analysis and the Chinese choice of development path and paradigm.
Almost taking over the world economically, the participants will have the opportunity to experience how the Chinese established and developed specialized economic zone arears, industry development systems and governance. Seminar participants will also undertake practical field visits to various cities and activities areas to enhance “a vivid understanding of the economic situation in China”.

Authorized by the Ministry of Commence, the 40 participants were advised to take advantage of the opportunity offered by the “Seminar on National Development Path and Economic for the Belt and Road Countries” to exchange country-specific experiences, acquire new and enrich their knowledge to bear in the month-long training. Mrs. Ma Jing Deputy Director urged.
Participants also are expected to stay focus, build new cooperation and networking in a spirit of friendship among themselves. Seminar participants will travel to a number of cities to include Xian, Luochuan county, Yanchuan, Tongchan and Guangdong. Chosen to lead the 40 participants, Mr. Waref Kumaiha, Lebanon noted how seminar topics will offer the opportunity to “gain from the Chinese experience and expertise in developing our various capacities” to enable participants make a meaningful impact back home countries.
