Yango Delivery, a division of global tech leader Yango Group, hosted a prestigious awards ceremony in Accra on July 8th, 2024, to celebrate and reward the exceptional performance of the top 200 couriers from its delivery partners across Ghana.

In recognition of their outstanding service, Yango presented the top couriers with high-end smartphones, generous cash prizes, and fuel coupons.
The two highest achievers were additionally awarded brand-new motorbikes, a testament to Yango’s commitment to rewarding excellence and dedication. This commitment is a reflection of our belief in the value of our couriers and their vital role in our success.
Key stakeholders, including representatives from the Ghana Police Service, delivery fleet partners, consumers, and couriers themselves, attended the awards ceremony. Beyond accolades, the event featured informative workshops on Road Safety, Health, and overall well-being.
Emmanuel Koduah, Country Manager of Yango Delivery, emphasized the pivotal role of couriers in enhancing Yango’s delivery ecosystem in Ghana. He praised their dedication, customer-centric approach, and role in facilitating efficient and reliable delivery solutions that support local businesses and enhance customer experience.
During the Health workshop, participants discussed personal hygiene, mental health, and physical well-being, highlighting the connection between wellness and job performance. In the Road Safety sessions, led by Chief Superintendent Alexander Obeng, participants learned about defensive driving techniques, accident prevention, and the importance of adherence to traffic rules, all of which are crucial for the safety and efficiency of our couriers.
Top-performing couriers Malu Eric Makija and Paul Amaglo expressed gratitude for the recognition. They shared their commitment to upholding safety standards and delivering exceptional service.
