Former Ghana striker Yaw Preko has vowed to give his all to Hearts of Oak after signing a three-year contract to become the new assistant coach of the club.

The 41-year-old signed the contract on Thursday to become deputy to the newly appointed head coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi.

This is the first club coaching job for Preko who played for the Phobians back in 1991.

The assistant coach of the Ghana U20 team says he aims at going all out for Hearts this term as coach as he did as a player.

“I have just signed the contract to join Hearts of Oak,” he told Nhyirah FM.

“I want to dedicate myself to the club as I did as a player and I hope we eventually achieve success.”
