GRAMMY Award-winning artist Young Thug has released his first solo single in over 18 months, titled Money On Money, featuring rapper Future.

The track, produced by Southside, Wheezy, Beatzbyrrose, Dez Wright, and 9jay, is now available through Young Stoner Life Records and 300 Entertainment. Accompanying the release is an official music video directed by Kaito and Brendan O’Connor.

The song serves as the lead single for Thug’s upcoming fourth studio album, UY Scuti, named after one of the largest known stars in the universe. Promotional efforts for the project have included cryptic social media hints from Future, a custom basketball jersey spotted at a Miami Heat game, and a billboard near the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival earlier this month.

Young Thug has also announced a series of international festival performances scheduled for summer 2025. These include appearances at Chicago’s Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash Festival on June 22, followed by stops in Germany, Belgium, Romania, Switzerland, and Poland throughout July. Additional tour dates are expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

The Atlanta-based artist, known for his genre-defining influence in hip-hop, last released a solo album, Punk, in 2021 to critical acclaim. His collaboration with Future marks their latest joint effort following previous hits such as Relationship and Group Home. The album’s rollout coincides with ongoing legal proceedings involving Young Thug, though details regarding their impact on his music career remain undisclosed.

Industry analysts note that UY Scuti arrives at a pivotal moment for Young Thug, whose innovative style has shaped contemporary rap. The album’s cosmic theme aligns with his history of blending abstract concepts with street narratives, a approach that has garnered both commercial success and artistic recognition. As anticipation builds, the project’s reception may further solidify his legacy amid evolving trends in the music industry.
