Mr Emmanuel Akakpo, the Youth President of the Parish, said the initiative was part of the youth programme to promote products of members as well as develop a strong business relationship.
He said the programme provided opportunities for effective interpersonal communication about members scope of businesses, saying all evidence of the research confirms that opportunities to get face-to-face with customers and potential future clients remain an incredibly valuable tool for developing new business .
“This age of exciting multi-channel and internet -based communication, the need for personal interaction was critical and that the combination of exhibitions and virtual marketing are essential elements to any company’s communications strategy” he added
The youth President observed that the exhibition had created a significant value of meeting with clients and future customers in person, experiencing that business is conducted between people and was based on trust.
Mr Akakpo said this year’s exhibition brought together 30 exhibitors, a reduction of previous years and was optimistic that at the end of the event, there would be a greater impact on products awareness, sales and networking opportunities.
He supported that assertion by a quote from S.H. Britt which said “Doing business without advertising is like winking at a girl in the dark”.
