Zambia on Friday called for the establishment of a memorandum of understanding with Argentina aimed enhancing cooperation in the mining sector.

During bilateral talks held between Zambia’s Ambassador to Brazil Alfreda Kansembe-Mwamba and Argentina Chamber of Mines Executive Director Luciano Beresntein, the Zambian envoy the southern African nation was keen to learn best practices in the mining industry from Argentina, according to a release.

She said Zambia was interested to enter into cooperation that had potential to create economic development.

On his part, the Argentina official said there was urgent need for his association to work in collaboration with the Zambian mining association in boosting cooperation in the mining sector. Enditem
