The Zambian government said on Thursday that it would take advantage of the forthcoming Global Agro Business Forum to be hosted by Brazil to showcase the country’s agricultural potential.
Zambia’s Ambassador to Brazil Alfreda Kansembe said the forum, to be held from July 26 to 28 2021 in the Brazilian town of Sao Paulo, presents a great opportunity for the country to show the world its rich agricultural potential as well as its tourism potential to Latin America, according to a release.
The Zambian envoy said the forum will highlight investment opportunities in strategic sectors that Zambia was trying to explore and urged the private sector in the country to utilize the forum to clinch joint ventures.
Zambia, she said, expects to use the forum to forge strong bilateral ties with other countries.
The forum is an international event aimed at opening doors for direct foreign investment opportunities with Brazil. Enditem
