Zambian President Edgar Lungu is expected to travel to Mozambique to attend the 12th U.S.-Africa business summit, a senior government official said on Tuesday.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Joseph Malanji said Lungu will have a one day working visit to Maputo, the Mozambican capital, on Wednesday.
The Zambian minister said the U.S.-Africa business forum is an important networking forum which needs to be strengthened through trade and investment policies.
Meanwhile, Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry Christopher Yaluma said Zambia would be among countries that would hold negotiations for the second phase of the African Growth and Opportunity Act agreement as the first phase of the agreement comes to an end. Enditem
