The Road Traffic and Safety Agency (RTSA) recently announced new traffic offense fines, a move that caused a public outcry, especially from taxi and public buses operators, who complained that this will make their businesses difficult.

But Chishimba Kambwili, the Chief Government Spokesperson, said Cabinet during its sitting on Monday decided to scrap the new traffic offense fines and has ordered traffic authorities to revert to old fines with immediate effect. Enditem
