Zambian entrepreneurs hailed the role played by foreign investments in the country, urging the government to better protect them.
Business entrepreneurs in Chingola, Ndola, Chililabombwe and Kitwe echoed the same sentiments in separate interviews by Xinhua that Zambia government should take measures to make sure foreign investors are safe.
Charles Mulenga, an entrepreneur in Chingola, said the government should protect foreign investments such as Chinese as they created jobs for the local people.
According to Mulenga, Chinese investments have benefited a good number of people not only in the mining sector but also in the manufacturing industry.
And Nelson Mumba, a Ndola based transporter, said Chinese have been investing in various economic sectors in Zambia.
This gave an impetus to Zambians to partner with the Chinese to foster development in the Southern African country, he said. Enditem
